Wurlitzer 5250 200-Selection Wallbox
This is a vintage Wurlitzer 5250 wallbox that has been modernized into a working, self-contained streaming jukebox. The cabinet, keyboard, coin mechanism, reset lever and lamp receptacles are all original and in use. A small computer added inside streams your selected track to your favorite speakers. Drop a coin, press a letter and a number, and your song plays through the Wurlitzer's own stereo jack, a Bluetooth speaker, AirPlay speakers, or Google Cast speakers. Or, set the unit to free play and enjoy selecting songs from the mechanical buttons without having to fish around for change.
This unit is uncommon not only as an original Wurlitzer 5250 in fine condition but also because it has been upgraded to stream music through internal electronics and a modern web interface. It'd make the perfect addition to any sort of game room, den, or man cave.
All 200 selections are initially added to the wallbox from a phone, tablet or computer on your home Wi-Fi. No app download is needed. The same web utility prints new title strips in the period Wurlitzer style, so the cards behind the glass always match what plays.
Features
| Original locking keys | All 200 selections (A–V, 1–10) work from the original keyboard. Tactile keys stay latched once pressed, and once the song is queued the reset lever releases them on its own, just like you remember. |
| Authentic coin mechanism | The coin mechanism is original and takes nickels, dimes, quarters and half dollars. Or, set the unit to Free Play via its settings page. |
| Your music | Assign any Apple Music track to any slot with a valid subscription. You can also upload your own MP3, AAC, FLAC or WAV files. (Uploaded files play without any subscription.) |
| Plays anywhere | The built-in stereo jack works with powered speakers or headphones. It also plays to Bluetooth speakers, AirPlay speakers and speaker groups, Google Cast speakers and speaker groups. |
| Lighting | The cabinet lighting can be dimmed/controller by your phone and exposed to home automation via Matter. |
| Title strips | Includes easy-to-use functionality to print title strips and Wurlitzer-style category headings ("Current Hits", "Rhythm & Blues", "Western", "Rock & Roll"…) to cut out and slide behind the glass. |
| Queue & now playing | From your smartphone or browser you can see what's playing, reorder the queue, skip a song, and see play counts and the coin-box total. |
| Easy Wi-Fi setup | Setup is a breeze with any smartphone, tablet, or computer. No app download required. |
